A Historic Gathering of Service and Dedication
Ingleburn RSL Sub-Branch Club Ltd recently hosted a historic Life Member Presentation and Brunch, bringing together its nine surviving Life Members for the first time in the Club’s history. This rare and meaningful event celebrated the individuals who have made extraordinary contributions to the Club and community, with 31 members awarded Life Membership since 1970.
The gathering included current and former Directors, Club Presidents, and CEOs, collectively representing an incredible 164 years of Board service and 34 years as CEO. Life Membership, the Club’s highest honour, recognizes those who have demonstrated exceptional dedication, shaping the legacy and spirit of Ingleburn RSL.
Club President Mr. Terry Goldsworthy presented each Life Member with a specially prepared certificate and a uniquely engraved Life Member Badge Pin. The event was further honoured by the attendance of Anoulack Chantivong MP, Member for Macquarie Fields, who took time from his Ministerial schedule to join this memorable occasion.
During the ceremony, Mr. Goldsworthy expressed the Club’s admiration and gratitude, stating, “Their commitment, passion, and hard work embody our core values of People, Teamwork, Integrity, and Belonging. Their contributions have profoundly impacted the Club and the community it serves.”
The morning was filled with reflections on the enduring legacy of these Life Members, whose collective efforts have helped create a vibrant and supportive environment for members and the broader community. It was also a moment to honour and remember those Life Members no longer with us, ensuring their contributions remain part of the Club’s story.
