Transforming Ingleburn Bowling Club

Commencing in January 2024, Ingleburn Bowling Club will undergo a $10 million rebuild and extension to herald the club into a new era for our community. More than just a renovation, we’re completely reimagining the space to create a modern, comfortable and versatile environment.

Learn more about the scheduled works and our plans for the future.

The future of Ingleburn Bowling Club

The works at Ingleburn Bowling Club will see a complete rebuild of the main club building – both front and rear – to expand the total footprint of the club. This also includes construction of a new bowlers’ facilities building and extension and refurbishment of the rear alfresco area.

Inside, the club will undergo a complete refurbishment, including:

  • a new modern kitchen space
  • adding new bars, lounge, function and gaming areas
  • creating a new and inviting and entry and foyer
  • incorporating versatile multi-use function areas with operable walls for events of all sizes.

Outside, we’ll take a similar approach to upgrading the facilities, including:

  • an inviting outdoor alfresco and entertainment space
  • enhanced bowlers and outdoor food and beverage facilities
  • expanded parking and lush landscaping for a seamless arrival experience.

The entire club will have a new look and feel, and we look forward to sharing images and video as the project progresses.

What this means for our members

In order to complete the works, Ingleburn Bowling Club will cease trading from 1 January, 2024 until the expected completion date of early/mid-November, 2024.

During this time, Campbelltown Bowling Club will host our Lady’s and Men’s Bowlers so their play will be uninterrupted.

Ingleburn RSL Club will remain in operation as usual. Ingleburn Bowling Club members are automatically members of Ingleburn RSL Club and can continue to enjoy the benefits of their membership. With restaurants, bars, social activities and the popular Tabatinga play centre, there’s much to explore and experience.

Building for the future

“The refurbishment of Ingleburn Bowling Club is an important step in helping us to achieve our vision,” says Glenn Cushion, Ingleburn RSL Club CEO. “The new facilities will be a destination of choice for recreation, entertainment and a place to belong. We’ll offer an exceptional and individual experience for every member and guest who steps inside our doors.

“We’re crafting a club that’s designed for and inspired by our members. We want it to be a place where you can relax and unwind. Where you can share a meal with friends and family or enjoy a game of bowls.”

Stay tuned for updates on the project as we progress. We look forward to welcoming you through the doors of the new and improved club in late 2024.
