A Bulli man has confessed his adult son had to check his Keno numbers a second time before the reality of his $300,000 Keno windfall sunk in.

Christmas has just come and gone, but I guess I had to wait a couple of days to receive my biggest gift!

the winning man exclaimed when confirming his win with an official from Keno.

I’d just headed down to the pub with my son to pass the time and thought I’d play some Keno.

I have my special numbers but thought I’d throw a few new ones in and before I knew it, I had five numbers, then I had six, and then they kept coming.

My son had to double-check them for me because I couldn’t believe what I was seeing.

It’s going to completely change my life.

There’s a new car waiting for me to drive away in it. I might even look at buying a motorhome and cruising up and down the coast.
2023 is going to be a lot of fun, that’s for sure.

His winning Keno Classic 9 Spot entry was purchased at Ingleburn RSL Club, 70 Chester Road, Ingleburn.

Ingleburn RSL Club CEO – Glenn Cushion said he and the team were delighted for their winning customer and couldn’t believe it had happened so soon after Christmas.

I can safely say this is the largest win we’ve seen in a decade at the club and it’s great to see a regular customer take this prize home.

We’re so excited for the winner and we can’t stop talking about it! It’s created a real buzz around the area.

We just want to wish him all the best and hope he has a fantastic start to 2023.

In FY22, Keno players across the eastern states of mainland Australia celebrated more than 62.2 million wins collectively worth more than $896.7 million.

During this time, Keno crowned 19 millionaires and multi-millionaires who collectively took home more than $30.7 million. Seven of these major winners were from New South Wales and the ACT, including a Sydneysider who picked up a $3.1 million windfall on Boxing Day while holidaying in Lake Macquarie.

Players in New South Wales and the ACT enjoyed more than 38.1 million Keno wins totalling more than $497.3 million across the region in the 12 months to 30 June 2022.
Keno players can also enter into the monthly second chance draw for the chance to win one of five $1,000 prizes by scanning their ticket at win.secondchance.keno.com.au.

About Keno Keno is a fun game played at about 3,500 pubs and clubs across Queensland, New South Wales, the ACT and Victoria.

A Keno draw occurs approximately every three minutes. During each draw, 20 numbers are drawn from 1 to 80. Players simply match the numbers on their entry to the numbers drawn for a chance to win over $1 million.

There are a range of Keno games to play, including Keno Mega Millions – a higher jackpot version of Keno Classic that uses the same Keno ball draw but gives players the chance to win $5 million or more.
