A Special Tribute to ANZAC Day from Bardia Public School

Ingleburn RSL Club extends its heartfelt thanks to the students and teachers of Bardia Public School for their exceptional contribution of a handcrafted poppy wreath in commemoration of ANZAC Day.

The intricate details and craftsmanship of the double-fired and glazed clay wreath is a testament to the dedication and creativity of the students and teachers involved. We were especially moved by the pride with which Leo and Sienna alongside their Principle and teacher presented the wreath on behalf of their peers to our CEO, Glenn Cushion.

Leo shared that the creation of this wreath involved countless hours of meticulous work. Each poppy, carefully shaped and placed, honours the memory and spirit of the ANZACs with great respect.

This wreath is not merely a beautiful artifact; it stands as a symbol of remembrance and legacy. It serves as a reminder of the bravery and sacrifices of the ANZACs, ensuring that their stories will not be forgotten. We are proud to treasure such a meaningful piece from Bardia Public School.

We thank Bardia Public School once again for this touching gesture. Your efforts will undoubtedly inspire community spirit and remembrance among all who see this remarkable wreath.

Lest we forget.
